Went to Manish Arora show with Sha and Michelle and we kinda felt sugar rush throughout the show. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just scroll down to see the sweet treats that I managed to capture, it's beyond your wildest colorful imagination!
"Oversize ice-cream prints and sugary landscapes adorn Peruvian circle skirts and drop-waisted ancient Chinese workers' trousers, worn over lurex thermals and long-johns. Knife pleats come in floor length gypsy skirts and layered print dresses. Hooded puffa capes are printed in waterproof techno fabric, and sporty nylon backpacks double as babies slung on the back or swaddled in front."
Like I said on instagram, Manish Arora A/W 2014 collection is really candylicious. I read that the theme for the runway show is inspired by candy tribe of sweet-toothed nomads and gummy bear gypsies, they even played the candy crush sound effects before the show started, oh sweet heaven. Let's look closely into the details, not only those magical digital prints but also every little detail, I feel like all the pieces unbelievably come to life, don't you think so? The vivid and contrast colors, those candylicious shoes and not to forget the unique headpieces are just major head turner! Autumn is gonna be so colorful this year ;)
Not to forget my outfit of the day, more pastel for you guys. Photos of me by Michelle Theodore.
