MBFW Stockholm with Oriflame - Part 2

So here's the second part of my trip to Stockholm city. Once again, I would love to say thank you so much to Oriflame Indonesia and Fimela.com for bringing me to Stockholm and thank you for this unforgettable new experience.

As you can see on my previous post, we went to Oriflame's head office in the morning to learn more about The ONE Collective and I bet some of you are wondering what exactly The ONE Collective is. So here is some information for you.

Today, Oriflame Cosmetics presents the new fashion-inspired make-up brand – The ONE. To launch The ONE and reinforce its link with fashion, Oriflame is the main sponsor at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm 2014, gaining inside knowledge from behind the scenes, and trend inspiration straight off the catwalk. The new make-up brand will be used by industry professionals on the models for the shows, proving its high quality catwalk standard.

To support the launch of The ONE, Oriflame has founded The ONE Collective – an exciting collaboration with beauty and fashion influencers such as bloggers, make-up artists, models and stylists from around the world. The ONE Collective will share their fashion and beauty inspiration, expertise and tips, giving Oriflame fans on-trend fashion advice and beauty know-how. Elin Kling, the world famous fashion entrepreneur and blogger and editor in chief of STYLEBY magazine, will be the Global Ambassador for The ONE Collective. Throughout 2014 Elin will be attending global fashion and beauty events, writing about current trends and imparting expert advice to Oriflame fans.

Back to the journey, right after visting Oriflame head office, we went to H&M Design Award 2014 - Eddy Anemian and this is what I wore that day.

Shirt - Chocochips
Neoprene top - & Other Stories
Neoprene skirt - & Other Stories
Shoulder bag - Valentino
She wolf pumps - Charlotte Olympia
Oversized hat - Zara

"I like the idea of sensuality, and perhaps even glamour. I wouldn't object to that description. But I don't want any nudity. Rather, I tend to cover the body, and I just wanted to play with proportion - the idea of lots of patterns, or cutting jackets with really high collars that make you carry your head in an aristocratic way."

Not really wearable, well maybe some are, however watching this particular design award show was really different as for me it was something new and really fresh to watch. Don't you think so? I heard that the collection is somehow inspired by Tilda Swinton in the movie I Am Love, and the French painter Ingres, hmm really interesting.

After the H&M Design Award 2014, we went to grab a quick lunch at Berns Salonger and went straight to attend Mayla F/W 2014 by Marlene Abraham, here you go.

Very contrast with the previous show as Mayla F/W 2014 collection is simple and of course wearable. Some photos above were somehow my favorite pieces from the collection especially the last look. Sheer silks and monochromatic prints, touch of gold and a palette of deep purple and emerald, what a concept ;)

Well the journey didn't end there as we were transfered to Oriflame Head Office again for the interview section. I was so excited that I got the chance to interview Elin Kling exclusively, yes by exclusively means one on one. Well, if you didn't know who she is, you should by now. Despite how big she is in the fashion industry and being the Global Ambassador of Oriflame's The ONE Collective, she is still really nice and humble, I'm such a big fan.

Another interview section with the Senior Director in colour cosmetics, fragrance and accessories and the Executive Vice President Global Marketing and R&D of Oriflame. At the end of the day, of course we got to know about Oriflame and The ONE Collective better.

And the last event of the day was dinner with all the Oriflame's ambassadors, beauty bloggers, fashion bloggers, journalists and many more from more than 10 countries. It was awesome to have the chance to meet and make friends with new people and of course knowing more about make up products especially The ONE Collective by Oriflame, not to mention the new experience of making our own lipstick and the exclusive visit to Oriflame's perfume factory. I can't thank Oriflame Indonesia enough for this whole new experience, but thank you, thank you and thank you.
