Merry-go-round

Back to Florence earlier this month, a working holiday trip with Il Bisonte. It was our last day and it was a free day, so we went to stroll around the city, hunting for some hot chocolate and some spots for more pictures, while waiting for the sunset.

Well, this may be my first time ever to Florence but it certaintly won’t be the last for sure, as I got bewitched by the beautiful city, their authentic Italian food and of course the gelato!
I had so much fun dressing up in Florence as well because you know, it’s been a while since I last wore them winter coats and oh-so-many layer of clothes. Sad it was such a short stay since I had to go back for another working trip, but at least I now have another reason to go back again, perhaps with hub next time around, Amen.

Sun and grain

Back to Palm Beach, styling my swimsuit into a off shoulder top and paired it up with my plain neoprene pants, creating a new silhouette and how do you like it?
Anyway, do you notice that I am currently obsessed with this frizzy curly hairstyle? However, since it is made from a tight braid, it won't stay as long as I wanted it to be. Do you have any suggestion(s) on how to maintain this hairstyle longer (say, more than 4 hours, because it normally only stays for an hour), except by permanently curling it?

By the way, everything is going alright on my end so far and I hope the same goes for you guys too.

GUCCI S/S 2018 Asia Press Day

It was just last month I got invited to Gucci SS18 Asia Press Day at Timbre at Arts House in Singapore together with Harper's Bazaar Indonesia, discovering their latest Spring Summer 2018 Collection which was showcased during Milan Fashion Week back in September 2017.
It was full of glitter, glam and it's all about letting us travel back to the 80s thus the vibrant colors, serious shoulder pads, crazy patterns, oversized blazers, sequins, ruffles and everything daring.
You know, it's GUCCI playground after all.
From recreating the iconic Elton John's stage outfits, a throwback nostalgia of Disney and Sega to collaborating with contemporary artists that Michele found through social media, he made sure that there is something (to wear) for everybody. It's about celebrating a diverse mix of cultures.

"Go into the store and you don't just recognise the season - you recognise the world. I want to stay here and grow beyond seasonal change."

For your spirit will live forever.

One of the piece that caught my eyes, a comfortable jumper with "NEVER MARRY A MITFORD" slogan. It used to be an upper-class in-joke from the past, from a habit of the 11th Duke of Devonshire of making 'comedy' jumpers back in the day.

"The title is taken from a sweater that Andrew Cavendish, 11th Duke of Devonshire used to wear around his Chatsworth estate in Derbyshire."

One of my favorite, the GUCCI X SEGA Gucci Sega bag.

The green cap

Decided to spend our last day in Sydney by visiting the Palm Beach again for the second time. The first time we were here, we didn't quite enjoy it because well you know, our car got towed as Goldwin put the wrong petrol inside the car and we even got back home by uber. Lucky enough, we were just 5 mins away from Palm Beach when everything happened. However, going back was another story as it takes an hour from Sydney to Palm Beach and vise versa, what an experience I know.

Well, anywayyyy since it was our last day and it was 41 degrees there, we knew that we had to hit the beach one last time, get tanned, enjoy a glass of virgin mojito, and finally watching the sunset at the wharf. What a perfect way to end our holiday.

Diversity

Pardon my hat, I know I've been using it so much lately but I just can't help it. You know, baker boy hat seems to be taking over the trend nowadays, correct me if I'm wrong because I've been seeing it so much just everywhere. Anyway, since you've been asking about mine, although I've already tagged it s many times on my Instagram, I scored mine from Lack of Color, an Australian based online store for hat.

Had a quick stroll at Potts Point, because Cath told me that it's a nice area esp for pictures and true enough, even the restaurants and cafes are so lovely around there. Glad I brought this Buen Alma outerwear from my dearest Tities Sapoetra because the weather has been quite weird these past two weeks. Well it's supposed to be summer now in Sydney, but it's nothing like it esp during the night, not that I don't like it, I actually love it; it's just scary how people always told me about global warming and stuff. Is it just me? Maybe I'm getting old?
